REFRACTIVE RANGE

  • -0.50D to -20.00D sphere up to -6.00D cyl
  • +1.00D to +14.00D with possibility of cyl correction on a case-by-case basis *
  • *if hyperopic, may need a PI as these are V4C lenses not EVO lenses

PREFERRED FOR

  • high refractive errors
  • not a laser candidate
  • desires a reversible option
  • significant dry eyes

PROS

  • less invasive than RLE
  • high quality optics
  • less dryness than laser surgery

CONS

  • more expensive
  • intraocular surgery= more invasive than laser surgery
hyperopes

*for myopes; 3.0 mm for hyperopes
